About Me
Greetings travelers, Becca here, pleasure to e-meet you! What's there to know about me? I do a lot of different things, graphic design, website management, marketing, advertising, social media management, and adventuring, just to name a few. I consider myself a jack-of-all-trades, if I don't know it, I am more than willing to do the research and figure it out.
I studied Visual Communications, Graphic Design, and Advertising at Lyndon State College, now Northern Vermont University. I was also part of the marketing team that helped with re-branding as it transitioned into a university.
While earning my degree part-time, I worked full-time at SlopeStyle Ski and Ride for 8 years. This is where I discovered my love for design and marketing, as well as my passion for snowboarding and mountain biking. My time there was the turning point of my life and career.
After graduation from LSC, I found myself in a leading position at The Vermont Flannel Company. I went from being assistant-to-the-assistant to upper management and web manager within a year. My primary responsibilities were to increase web sales and our social media presence. Under my leadership, our sales and web presence increased an average of 40%/month. While these were my primary duties, I would still do graphic design, marketing, IT, retail, customer service, events...etc...whatever I needed to do to help the company succeed.
I'm now the web and digital communications manager for Northern Vermont University. In this role, I manage the web and social media content, work directly with the director of marketing to manage projects, distribute communications internally and externally, and collaborate with the staff writer, and other departments to keep the website and social media up-to-date and fresh.
When I am not behind the desk, you can find me in the mountains, on my motorcycle, playing video games, and spending time with my husband. If you find yourself in need of my particular set of skills, please reach out, I want nothing more than to expand my knowledge and experience. I look forward to hearing from you!
